great week

So this week went well. Monday I broke a seven year old squat record and thursday I pulled 480/ 3 and a 500 single conv with just a belt. This weekend I'm in Vernon doing an introductory coarse for massage therapy.

It's 1994







First pic is our first log, we are still using it today it is getting beat up though. The next pic is my first highland games. The last is of the 94 winter games in Smithers. This was 1994 and the last year I competed in the 76 kg class. I was just going through some old pics and thought I would share these. Not to much to say about training. Mainly trying to fix some issues that I've not been dealing with. This weeks training Monday ss bar box squats no gear worked up to 355/8 and 375/6 then some chins and dips. Dallas and Steve were benching and I couldn't take watching any more I jumped in and did an easy 315 single then 275 for 8. Today I pulled conv deads no gear 425/5 445/5 Incline dumbbell press 110s for 7 and one arm rows 150s for 8. Last Saturday I did some push presses, fr squats and stone loading last set of stones were 180,215,245,260 to a 52 inch platform. So I'm slowly making some progress on the stones. My training reps are high right now as try gain back the size that I lost dropping down to the 181s earlier this year I'm hovering at about 215 right now and feeling much better.

another hot day

great day today It was about thirty degrees out side today this makes me happy. first was 56 lbs weight for height then distance. next was the truck pull this was up hill and heavy. next was stone loading I finally got the 260 lbs stone up not once but twice. last was a 550 lbs static hold I manage 62 seconds. I stayed out of the gym for another week and felt the best I have in a while.

back after two weeks off

So I took some time off my life is a little crazzy right now. Today we started with farmer's walk 300/ 100' 360/100' 500/50' 540/50. next was the car deadlift with a hammer grip. car plus 45lbs/5 65/5 85/3 115/3 135/1 Dallas worked up to the car plus 225/1 lastly we pushed that awfull prowler again 20lbs /240' and 30/240' that was all for today
