will spring ever come

Well I was sick again this week which is more than likely why Saturdays training sucked so bad. I've had to change my training up, and one of the things I've almost cut out is the strongman stuff until I can stop my diet and start eating a bit more. today was chest day for me nothing exciting. The guys did some farmers walk up the hall and back which was almost an obstacle coarse. Then they did some farmer deads for triples with a thirty sec hold after the third. next was good mornings from chains. and last they did crucifix hold I might have participated a little.but I can't say as my wife may read this.lol

last post for awhile

I'm getting farely beat up right now and I still have at least three weeks of dieting left. What ever I injured in my right leg back in January, flared up again dead lifting on Sunday. I'm having trouble walking around right now let alone squatting. Todays bench training was depressing as I barely bench 315 for 3 and 335 buried me I tried benching in the katana again I can now touch with 365 easy. This shirt isn't going to work for me when I set up keeping the shirt down I lose two inches of arch. If I set up high the shirt ends up at my throat. I give up. Any way enough whining I knew I was going to have some problems when I got my weight down.

Skinny and weak

Well we started today out with 2" rack pulls there were a few prs today but I wasn't one of them I pull 525 which is 110 lbs off my all time best. then we went on to log lifts everyone lifted great with pat getting 245 and dallas getting 255 I got 215 but after easy cleans with 225 I couldn't press it . log floor press was next there was some great efforts put in, with the log last weight be 325. Last was the tire flip Dallas did his 30 or so reps as the rest of us worked in and out on the other side. All in all I had fun today and I am looking forward to next week off strongman training. It is very demanding training.
